We are delighted to announce that the Ayrshire Women’s Cycle Festival is returning on the 15th-21st of May 2023. We have once again teamed up with the Active Travel Hub Kilmarnock and the Active Travel Hub Ayr to bring you a fabulous few days of cycling. This year we are also working with various cycling organisations and clubs across Ayrshire to showcase the cycling opportunities, we have available in the area.
The programme boasts a wide variety of cycling activities. The adventurous can try out tricks on a BMX or get muddy while mountain biking, whilst the social riders can enjoy numerous ladies’ rides hosted across the Ayrshires. There will also be an opportunity to try out e-bikes or all ability bikes such as trikes, side-by-side bikes or wheelchair bikes. Even those new to cycling can get a feeling of what cycling is all about at a learn to ride taster session. We hope the event will support and inspire women across Ayrshire to cycle more regardless of their current cycling ability or experience.
