As the Trinity Active Travel Hub in Bridgegate, Irvine is currently not open to drop-in visitors we have taken Trinity on the Move. We have been popping up at various libraries chatting to library users about the activities we can offer and how they can make positive choices about active travel. Recently we have been in the Garnock Valley and March will be the turn of the Three Towns and Arran libraries.
We are now busy developing our programme for after April when we are hoping to further extend our current activities in the localities. We plan to work with partners as well as offering a variety of activities from Dr Bike and cycle maintenance sessions to adult cycling skills and pre- 5 balance bike lessons at new venues across North Ayrshire. We also hope to build on our existing locality walks programmes with the possibility of offering pop up buggy or Nordic Walking taster sessions.
