Stroll with it
Start your walking journey by joining our led walks every Wednesday from January to June 2020 (please note: all walks currently cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak).
Come along for one or two walks or join us for them all.
Walks are expected to last between one hour and one and a half hours. The walks will start at 11am at the Trinity Active Travel Hub in Bridegate, Irvine unless stated as a different start point.
We advise that you wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
A number of the walks require using public transport, options for this have been indicated from Irvine town centre. Please check your options for public transport with Stagecoach.
If you are looking for a different walking experience, why not try Nordic walking?
Not only is Nordic walking great for the lower body, it’s also brilliant at working the upper body and core muscles. This makes it a great activity for an all over body workout.
Walks are expected to last around 45 minutes. They consist of:
- a brief introduction
- warm up
- Nordic walk
- a cool down
The walks all start at 12:30pm on every second and fourth Tuesday of the month and at 10am on the last Saturday of the month at the Trinity Active Travel Hub in Bridgegate, Irvine. See the events section for dates.
