Trinity on the Move has a busy couple of months ahead as we will be popping in with our information stall to libraries in Kilbirnie, Irvine, Stevenston, Saltcoats and Beith. Find out more about active travel and our cycling and walking activities around North Ayrshire. We will also be visiting Lochshore with the Trinity on the Move stall on 9th May when you can also get your bike checked over by Dr Bike and get it security marked. You can also have a go at Nordic walking if you fancy a Friday workout. We will be back at Lochshore on 30th May and 20th June.
Thursdays are busy cycling days for the Trinity team. If you are an adult new to cycling or need to increase your confidence you can sign up to an Adult Learn to Cycle/ Building Confidence session on a Thursday morning. Through relaxed lessons you will learn how to ride a bike and gain confidence in an off road setting. The sessions must be booked and you can sign up at Adult Learn to Cycle/Building Confidence .
Would you like to go for a social bike ride? Our led rides take place on Thursdays between 11-1pm. Fully guided the rides take place on off road shared paths and quiet roads. The rides start in Irvine but if you can’t get your bike there you can borrow one of ours. Sign up to the social bike rides at Social Bike Ride
After lunch on Thursday it’s time for the little ones to take centre stage. If you have a 3-5yr old and you would like them to get cycling then this is a great session to get them started on a balance bike. The sessions focus on increasing your child’s confidence through games and play. You will also pick up tips about how to support your child’s cycling journey. Sign up at Balance Bike
