We are delighted to announce that this week saw two new ‘Stroll With It’ walking groups striding out. Stroll With It – Arran led by volunteers Diana and Linda and Stroll with It – Kilwinning led by Kimberly and volunteer Robert set forth on Tuesday. The walks are designed to be relatively short, only 1-3 miles and will take around one hour or so at a gentle pace. They are aimed at people who want to start on their road to becoming more active or those who enjoy a short walk and want to meet other people for a bit of company and a blether whilst enjoying the outdoors.
The Kilwinning group took a turn around McGavin Park marvelling at how the park has changed within a matter of a few years. The Arran folk took a short route around Brodick enjoying some lovely views in the sunshine as well as a cup of tea after the walk. If you are interested in joining either walking group or volunteering to help with one of the Stroll With It groups contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
