North Ayrshire Spaces For People

During Covid-19, many Scottish local authorities are installing temporary measures in their towns and cities.

The measures are to protect public health. They aim to help with physical distancing  for people who are avoiding unnecessary car journeys. This could be for travel or exercise by foot, bike or wheel.

North Ayrshire Council has been awarded funding from the Spaces for People Programme. This programme is funded by Transport Scotland and administered by Sustrans Scotland.

A website, with an interactive map, has been set up for people to comment on a location they would like to see some of these measures installed. You can also agree with other peoples’ comments.

Visit the Spaces for People: North Ayrshire website to leave a comment.

The needs of the whole community will be better understood if more people contribute. Please help to spread the word and get others involved.
