Nordic Walking

Tuesday 25 February, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

We are running regular Nordic Walking sessions every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

Nordic Walking is an all over body workout and a more intense version of walking. Nordic walking can be done by most people and almost anywhere. We have a variety of Nordic Walking poles that would suit individuals with some health issues (please contact us for more details). The use of poles means that we give our upper body muscles a workout as well as the legs.  Our core muscles are also heavily engaged. As the poles propel us forward it makes us work harder but it will also feel easier.

For those of us that are new to Nordic Walking or would like to go through the basic technique again please meet us at the Trinity Active Travel Hub 15 minutes before the start of the session at 1215. For those of us that have already attended Nordic Waking sessions and don’t need to go through the basic technique if you can meet us just before the start of the session at 1225 it means that we can make a prompt start at 1230.

As we have a limited number of poles you will need to book yourself on to the session.
